Earlier this morning, Roxbury Township Police Detective Adam DelGuercio arrested 18-year old Gerard N. Palazzolo. Palazzolo was charged with one count of 2nd degree Sexual Assault and one count of 3rd degree Terroristic Threats. Palazzolo was processed at the Roxbury Township Police Department and is currently being held in the Morris County jail on $75,000 bail which was set by Superior Court Judge Thomas Manahan. The case will be prosecuted by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Sex Crimes Unit.

Despite these pending charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt following a jury trial at which the defendant has all of his rights guaranteed by the U.S. and New Jersey Constitutions and relevant state law.
